This extra-curricular program allows young people 9 years of age and older to begin professional training towards becoming circus artists while pursuing their regular primary or secondary education in another local institution. Students in Grades 6 through 10 or Secondary 4 may, during the course of the program, choose to apply to Circus and High School Studies program to complete their secondary studies. Grade 11 or Secondary 5 students may use this program to prepare for the entrance exam to the Diploma of Collegial Studies in Circus Arts (DEC) program.

An Entrance Exam will take place on August 23, 2008. The deadline to register is August 20, 2008.
The program comprises solid physical preparation, and technical and artistic training in the basic disciplines of circus arts and the performing arts. Students will have the opportunity to integrate all that has been learned in the School's Annual Show, in which they will participate in all stages of the production as well as perform before an audience.

The program begins with a mandatory two-week training camp during the month of August. Regular instruction spans a 10-month period, with 13 to 16 hours of instruction per week divided into 4 or 5 sessions held Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday evenings, and Saturday mornings.
- Training Camp : August 4 to August 15, 2008
- Fall Session : August 29 to December 13, 2008
- Winter Session : January 5 to June 6, 2009

The ideal candidate wishes to pursue the full advanced training necessary to become a circus artist. In order to achieve this goal, students must commit to an intensive preparatory training, in addition to primary or secondary studies.
The candidate:
- demonstrates proficiency in the circus arts, dance, a martial art or acrobatic sport with an artistic component, such as artistic or rhythmic gymnastics, trampoline, diving, figure skating, etc.
- has developed physical and psychomotor skills such as coordination, spatial orientation, flexibility and body awareness and is in excellent health.
- is enrolled in another local primary or secondary school
- is available evenings during the week and on Saturdays, is able to manage spare and travel time effectively
- demonstrates determination, discipline and creativity.
